i haven't been posting here much...

yesterday wasn't my day. i cried a lot in the office. venting out my frustrations cause i couldn't beat the living crap out of the person who was making-away me. so iyak na lang, para world peace pa rin. heheheh

today was fun.. tamad akong magstory ulit eh. silip niyo na lang tabulas ko.... hahahaha....

I’m going back on field tomorrow. We had a Taiwanese visitor with us and his flight back to Taiwan is tomorrow. So, we had to bring him back to the city today.

I was really looking forward to watching ROTK. My baby brother has watched it twice. So yesterday, I texted my parents and asked them if we'd watch.

me: nuod tayo ng LOTR.
mama:ok
me: yehey! mamaya after work ko?
mama: ok

me: nuod tayo ng LOTR.
papa: ok
me: weeee... ngayon na?
papa: no.

ngerks. So I was thinking we won't watch it.

But my parents picked me up from work. I thought that we were heading to the cinemas after. But they only picked me up because they wanted to buy a mudpie from the restaurant/bakery beside my office.

So we had dinner. And I wrestled with my baby brother to teach me the coke ko to thing. And then I finally got tired and was cozying up in my bed, had my laptop on my lap na, preparing to go online when...

mama: sama kayo?
kami: san?
mama: sa 8:15.

wooohooo!! yesh! It was around 7:50 na. Don't worry, SM is our neighbor. It's just five minutes away. We only had to cross the street.

And so, I watched it! WOooOOOhOooooOOoo!!

I think my mouth was open almost the whole time. Oh, except when I was eating my lollipop. How hard is it to eat lollipop with your mouth open?

Aragorn rocks! I'm sorry to all Legolas lovers. heheeh. But it's kinda funny since whenever Legolas appears on screen, the girls would make this ayyy waaa sound. If they could faint, I'm sure they would. Especially when he kinda got cleaned up after the battle.

Then Peaches forwarded this lovely message to me. And I replied like a mother asking her if she was done with her studies. Bwahahaha...

When we got home, I had to explain the whole LOTR to my mom. Hehehe...

It's so good. I wanna watch it again.

I, Camille Concepcion, Field biologist, will go back to the field next week! Ain't that just great? hehehe...

No. Not mine. Duh!

It's my parents' 25th today. Hurray!

So, like I said, I got them a room. And my mom knows the manager or something, so she asked for a discount. But it came too late since I already paid for the room. They got an upgrade instead. They were given a suite, of course, it has a sala, the bedroom, a mini kitchen, two TV sets and a view of the beach and the pool! It was lovely. Then I bought flowers. I found these beautiful bouquet of orange gerbellium (tama ba?) with white mums. And orange was the color of their wedding invitation because my papa loves orange.

They invited me and my brothers to visit them and to have dinner. It was fun! We ate pizza and pasta. We didn't eat all that much because the dinner from Sunday was still filling our stomachs.

My parents are still very much in love with each other, if not more, now.

I was often told that I am dreaming if I could find true love nowadays, and true love at first try. But my parents did. And I know, I will too.

I am often asked why I don't have a boyfriend. I actually get tired of answering that question. "Mabait ka naman," "maganda ka naman," "matalino ka naman," and "something else ka naman." Everybody says the same thing. I don't need a man to complete me. I am happy being single. And I am not saying I do not wish to have a boyfriend, but I want to dance to God's beat. I am not a misogynist, like that What goddess are you test said I am. Thanks a lot Ariel! I am just patiently waiting for the time that God says, "you're ready." I don't need to practice falling in and out of love.

I wish I had pictures to share with you guys right now. But since we are still living in the ice age, we still use instamatik cameras, I don't have any.

Anyways, it's my parents' 25th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow. We ate at Marco Polo Hotel's Cafe Marco last night. Grabe! I ate so much I tell you I wanted to throw up. But everything was so good. Concepcion and buffet are synonymous. Yummy! Heck about getting fat!

I got them a room at Waterfront Insular Hotel for tonight. Wala lang! I just thought a "honeymoon" might do them some good. Well, at least an overnight vacation would.
